Kobold Toys is very proud to announce that it has just launched its Kobold Kids Toy Trial program.
With the strong support of over 100 families across the United States and of some of our vendors who offered free samples for this market test, we are now getting both kids and parents to have hands-on experience with selected toys and give us a thorough, anonymous, honest feedback about different aspects of the toys.
We have quick start the program with Brio's adorable Ant and Egg pull-along, recommended for children 18 months +. We will next test whole train sets, blocks, action figures (pirates, knights, animals) and even a challenging labyrinth game for kids 6 years +.
The Kobold Kids Toy Trial works like this:
1) We, at Kobold Toys, select specific toys that we want to test based on our Kobold Parents' suggestions and our perception of the toy's qualities, design and its promise to foster certain skills in our Kobold Kids.
2) We get the toy to the parents
3) We let the kids play at their own timing, interest and leisure.
4) Parents send us back a questionnaire that rates anything from the toy's quality, design to the kid's interest in it and to its price point.
This program allows Kobold Toys to be in constant touch with our primary market (kids and parents), learn from them, listen to them and pass the word to our manufacturers. We believe that, with the help of our children and parents we will be able to offer toys and services that best meet today's family needs.
A great unintended consequence of this program is also the building of a community that is at the front line of playing, with parents willing to drive the toys to other parents who live close by, sharing thoughts with us and other parents, and offering unparalleled advice for us in the toy industry.
